The Colour Combo

The default pairing is Sky Blue + Purple — and it's a combination that earns its own paragraph. Bowie's Sky Blue perfectly captures the cold, vast, beautiful wonder of space — the astronaut floating weightless, the Earth a pale blue dot below. Hendrix's Purple is Purple Haze, obviously — deep, swirling, psychedelic, and unmistakably Jimi.
