Ssssss… Meet Our 3D Printed Minecraft Creeper (He Won't Explode, We Promise)

Ssssss… Meet Our 3D Printed Minecraft Creeper (He Won't Explode, We Promise)

If you've spent any time in Minecraft, you know that sound. That quiet hiss just before everything goes wrong. The Creeper is one of gaming's most iconic characters — equal parts terrifying and weirdly loveable — and I've been wanting to print one for ages.

Well, he's finally here. And I have to say, he turned out even better than I hoped.

What he looks like

The 3D printed Creeper is all about those blocky pixel details. The whole body is covered in that signature stacked-cube texture that captures the low-res, pixelated look of the game perfectly. The face is the real star — those two hollow square eyes and the distinctive downturned mouth are faithfully reproduced, giving him that classic expression somewhere between grumpy and genuinely threatening.

He stands fully upright on those two stubby legs, completely freestanding. No bases, no stands, no fussing around — just put him on a surface and he holds his own. Which is more than you can say for the Creepers in the actual game.

Two sizes — one for every situation

He comes in two sizes, and honestly both are great for different reasons:

  • Small (23mm wide × 35mm long × 75mm tall) — $5.00 NZD: The little one is absolutely perfect as a desk companion, a lunchbox surprise, a party bag filler, or a "just because" gift. At five dollars, you could grab a handful for a Minecraft birthday party and every kid goes home happy.
  • Large (48mm wide × 70mm long × 150mm tall) — $15.00 NZD: The big one is a proper statement piece. He looks brilliant on a bookshelf, on a gaming desk, or on a windowsill. At 15cm tall, he's got real presence — next to a keyboard, next to some other figures — wherever you put him, he becomes the thing people notice first.

And yes — the two together look brilliant side by side. Big Creeper, little Creeper. It's a vibe.

Who is this for?

Let's be real — everyone who's ever played Minecraft will get it. But specifically:

  • Kids who are currently in their Minecraft era (which, let's be honest, lasts years)
  • Teenagers with a gaming setup who want something on their desk that says something about them
  • Adults who grew up with Minecraft and have extremely good taste in nostalgia
  • Parents looking for a birthday gift that will actually land
  • Anyone running a Minecraft-themed birthday party who needs party bag fillers that aren't just lollies
